On September 14, 2010 it will be held at the Ecole National d'Administration Rabat, the second module of training under the interregional initiative "Training cycle in decentralization and decentralized cooperation. The module will cover BENCHMARK OF DECENTRALIZATION: EXAMPLES OF EUROPE, AFRICAN AND AMERICANS. Following the seminar held on 8 March in Fes in the framework of the project "Cultural and Artistic Representation of Women in the Euro-Mediterranean" to the presentation of the comparative study that was conducted by the University of Florence and the University of Fes on the creative activities of women, the recommendations were presented to local institutions.
On June 28, 2010 will be held in the house Development of Tangier, the launching of training in decentralization and local planning for executives and elected municipal and regional level Tangier-Tetouan, under the interregional project " Training and technical exchanges in decentralization and planning for elected Region East and Tangier - Tetouan.

As part of its support for the National Strategy for capacity building of local authorities in the DGCL, UNDP, through governance programs such as the ART GOLD program strives to offer this course in decentralization and decentralized cooperation aimed at 32 frames administrations and institutions, municipal, provincial and regional members of GTP-GTR-ART GOLD Programme UNDP Morocco regions of Tanger-Tetouan, the Oriental, Fez-Boulemane, Tadla- Azilal working in the field of decentralization and international cooperation and wish to acquire theoretical and methodological experiences on decentralization and decentralized cooperation mechanisms.
Supporting the development of Communal Development Plans by the ART GOLD Programme UNDP Morocco, through a process which benefits from the experience of European Municipalities and their expertise, including MedCities, CIREM, Felcos Umbria FAMSI, partners of ART GOLD UNDP Morocco, will strengthen the capacity of local actors in charge of developing of CDP through:
- Equipment of space available
- Training workshops / action on behalf of the Technical Team and elected of municipality
- Support for setting up a communication plan, accompanying the process;
- Availability of development tools that can support common European implementation of CPD (Mission of the Panel of decentralized cooperation and exchange).
The edition of the CPD and its translation into a foreign language will be a tool to mobilize European partners.
Following the planning day on PCD in the presence of local stakeholders and those of decentralized cooperation, held in Rabat on February 9, 2010 and following to the official launch conducted by the Moroccan Municipalities, partners of decentralized cooperation will travel to Morocco to begin the training workshops.
The days of April 27-28-29 Medcities support this approach in the region of Tangier-Tetouan and the CIREM, FAMSI FELCOS Umbria and will be in the Oriental Region on 5 and 6 May.
The days from May 3 to 6 a mission consisting of Ms. Najat Rochdi, Deputy Director of the UNDP in Geneva and representatives of the Region of Lombardy, FAMSI with Consorcio de los Rios, the city of Malaga, the Region of Extremadura and the Region of Champagne Ardennes will visit the Oriental Region to deepen their knowledge on the national strategy of Morocco in general and more particularly of the Directorate General of Local Governments in the field of new technologies and identify projects in response to the Guidelines in the Pilot Regions of ART GOLD Programme - UNDP Morocco in the field of new technologies.
Official Launch of Project on Training and technical exchanges on decentralization and planning for elected of the Oriental Region and the Region of Tangier-Tetouan and executives of the DGCL to be held at the University of Oujda in the Oriental Region.
This project intends to support local strategic planning through the strengthening of capacity building of elected officials and managers through a training course and exchange thank to the partnership with the partner of the General Directorate of Local Communities (DGCL), the Regional Council of the East, the Regional Council of Tangiers-Tetouan, University Mohammed I in Oujda, Targa AIDE Association, l’Association Rives pour le Développement et la communication (ARDECOM) de Tanger and partners of decentralized cooperation, including the Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur (PACA), the Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI), the Marche Region/University of Urbino (Italy) and the Region of Catalonia.
Under the project "Promotion of Rural Tourism at the Regional Natural Park Bouhachem," a mission of representatives of the Balearic Islands will be held in Morocco on 20-21 April.The mission objective is to present the progress of the project and updating and validation of the planning of future activities in full consultation with local stakeholders, including ATED and Association Rif Al Andalus GIR .Moreover, this mission will strengthen the strategy local offials and beneficiaries for recovery and marketing of local products through income-generating activities (IGA) to better support the improvement of income of the population of the Regional Natural Park of Bouhachem.
UNDP, co-host of the ‘Capacity is Development' Global Event, works with governments to identify, assess and strengthen local and national capacities. This conference will be hosted in Marrakech on 17 18 19 March and it will bring leaders, thinkers and practitioners together to discuss and learn from the successes and failures in policy choices, investment decisions and institutional reforms for capacity development.

On March 8, in occasion of World Day of Women, will be held in the Presidency of the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah in Fes a seminar for the presentation of the comparative study was conducted by the University of Florence University of Fez in the creative activity of women in the project "The Cultural and Artistic Representation of Women in the Euro-Mediterranean zone".
This day will aim to present the results of the study developed, including the submission of recommendations for the implementation of measures of gender equality to the institutions and associations in the region of Fez Boulemane.
