National Committees of Coordination
The National Committee of Coordination (NCC) is a platform of coordination which brings together the key institutions of development at national level.
Role
- To ensure the articulation of activities of the ART GOLD Morocco Programme with the National Politics and the priorities of the National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD).
- To guarantee the aspects of coordination necessary for the accomplishment of the Programme objectives at a regional, national and international level.
- To ensure the orientation and the concordance of the strategy of the Programme with other initiatives and similar programmes.
- To follow and evaluate the state of advancement of the activities planned in the context of the Programme.
Participants
Directed by the Ministry of the Interior and by the General Directory of the Local Collectives (GDLC) and UNDP, the NCC is constituted by Representatives of Ministries and of the following institutions:
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of cooperation
- The National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD)
- The Agencies of Development
- The Civil Society
- The Universities
- The Agencies and Offices of Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation presents in Morocco
- The agencies of United Nations (UNFPA, UNICEF, UNIFEM…etc.)
- The Representatives of the Regional and Provincial Working Groups
According to the topics of the NCC sessions, the other Ministries and institutions are equally invited to participate
