Pilot Regions

Introduction

The ART GOLD Programme contributes to the process of decentralization, engaged by Morocco, which aims to create a social-economic dynamic at a local level. Thus, ART GOLD Programme proposes necessary instruments and tools for the articulation of the national politics, with the local actions and the interventions of the partners of the international cooperation.

Thereby, the ART GOLD Programme has provided the Moroccan Regions with positive experiences in relation to the decentralization process, by means of the different exchanges with its network of international partners, permitting the accomplishment of innovative experiences in the field which favour the reinforcement of local actors capacities with regard to the planning and management of local development process in Morocco.

The ART GOLD Morocco Programme has concentrated its activities in the two pilot regions, the Tanger-Tétouan Regions and the Oriental Region.
